Erasmus and FITEC students

Students from European partner Universities under the Erasmus Programme and under the FITEC programs can :

follow courses chosen from the 3-year. You have to select courses in a single year of study (in the 3rd or 4th or 5th academic year) and courses in a single major (in material chemistry or organic chemistery etc.) as courses may take place at the same time for several majors and for different academic years.
You may follow "French as a Foreign Language" courses and get : 2 ECTS for the intensive courses at the beginning of September and 1 ECTS per semester for the weekly course.
For the students from Erasmus or other exchanges Programmes : You have to select at least one language among the four - English, French as a Foreign Language, German or Spanish - taught at ENSCM.
French as a Foreign Language : 2 ECTS ( + 1 ECTS/semester)
English, German or Spanish : 2 ECTS/semester

Advisable duration of stay : one semester to one full academic year.
For shorter stays (3 months), it is advisable to carry out a project in one of our School's laboratories.

Under special bilateral agreements between ENSCM and their universities of origin Erasmus and FITEC students can be awarded the Engineer degree.
Minimum duration of courses in that case : 3 semesters.

> How to register ?

- report to the page " Programme of studies " and with the help of your own institution International Relations Officer choose the courses in first, second or third academic year (knowing that those correspond respectively to third, fourth and fifth university years) according to your level.

- fill in the " Application form " for Erasmus and FITEC students (including the "Learning Agreement form") which needs to be approved and signed by your International Relations Officer

Please, note that the application is only valid when the following documents are enclosed with it :
- all Academic Transcript of Records
- CV in english
On reception of the Student Exchange Application, we will get in touch, by e-mail, with the applicant and his coordinator to inform if they have been admitted to ENSCM.

In a Hall of Residence

Fill in the " Student accomodation and intensive French courses form" if you wish to attend French courses during your period of stay.
The first period for attending "French as a Foreign Language Courses" runs over two weeks, at the beginning of September.
In all cases, attendance is free of charge.

Individual applicants

Individual students (either European or non-European students) can apply for the Engineer Degree curriculum on the basis of the excellence of their academic record.

Eligibility : Open to foreign students holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a solid background in Chemistry.
Preference will be given to applicants under 25 years of age and with a minimum in French corresponding to TEF=1 or DELF 1st degree.

 

Engineer Degree curriculum

 

Registration : Students are allowed to register at the beginning of the 2nd year of studies at the ENSCM (=4th academic year).

Application process : Application packages should coutain the following documents :
- a complete cv
- a detailed academic record (including marks and ranking)
- a cover letter
- 2 letters of recommandation by academic staff members
- proof of French and English language level.
