Ecole d'ingénieur de chimie de Montpellier : ENSCM, Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier

Following a long and rich tradition in Chemistry at Montpellier, the ENSCM delivers a degree of “Ingenieur chimiste” * (Master’s degree in chemistry and chemical engineering).

The ENSCM training provides future engineers with skills allowing them to work in the fields of Fine Organic Chemistry and Health Science, Chemistry of Materials, Environment and Sustainable Development. It benefits from the excellent potential of research units associated to CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research), and from structures with engineering facilities, a pilot plant, a scale-up lab and a start-up business incubator.

The training at the ENSCM is aimed at giving a sound general, technical and scientific background as well as the expertise needed to fit easily into active and professional life while taking into account the new challenges due to economic, technological and sociological mutations.

Mon intérêt pour la chimie a réellement commencé au lycée. J’ai décidé après le BAC de rentrer en classe préparatoire intégrée (CPI à Rennes) dans le but d’intégrer directement une école de Chimie à la sortie. C’est au cours de ces deux années de classes préparatoires que j’ai découvert et me suis vivement intéressée à la chimie organique. De là s’est orienté mon choix d’intégrer l’ENSCM, réputée pour sa formation dans le domaine.
